At Southern Eye, we work closely with your Optometrist to attain the highest quality surgical result. As your eyecare team we will help you assess your Vision Options to provide you your best vision through out the remainder of your life.

At Southern Eye you have three Vision Options to choose from, depending on the health of your eyes, your activities of daily living and your desire to wear or not to wear glasses.
We offer two Laser Cataract Surgery Options and one Manual Cataract Surgery Option.
1st Vision Option: Advanced
“Freedom from Glasses”
This is our most comprehensive Vision Option which includes: IOL Master and/or A-Scan, OPD, Pentacam and OCT testing; Laser Cataract Surgery; premium multi-focal lens; astigmatic treatment (as needed); 90-day post-operative care period; 6-month post-operative excimer laser enhancement period (as needed). Patients will likely have high quality near, intermediate and distance vision without the need for glasses. Readers may be desired in certain situations. An additional fee is charged for services not covered by insurance.

2nd Vision Option: Custom
“Legal to Drive”
This Vision Option includes: IOL Master and/or A-Scan, OPD, Pentacam and OCT testing; Laser Cataract Surgery; astigmatism treatment with or without a premium astigmatic lens (as needed); 90-day post-operative care period; 6-month post-operative excimer laser enhancement period (as needed). Patients will likely have high quality distance vision without the need for glasses. However, glasses will likely be needed for intermediate and near vision.
