January 26, 2013
Southern Eye held its first All Day Continuing Education event at our office for the area's optometrists. The event was a huge success, with attendees from the states of Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. Our next All Day Continuing Education event will be held on Saturday, Novemeber 2, 2013. More details to be announced.
February 9, 2013 Mark your calendars!
Dr. Schanzer will be one of the guest speakers at the Third Annual Women's Morning of Spirituality retreat. The WMOS will be held at the Catholic Church of the Incarnation in Collierville, TN. The doors open at 7:15 a.m. A continental breakfast will be provided before the retreat begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. Beautiful, uplifting music will be provided by Bethany and Kevin Page. As in the past, there will be an opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation with many priests throughout the diocese coming to assist. April 2012 Dr. Schanzer received a Humanitarian Award from her Alma Mater, Baylor College of Medicine for her missionary work in Serabu, Sierra Leone.
